Cast - Rei Ciara Tsubasa

The mysterious man who wishes to claim all of the Medallions for himself. He has strange, hypnotic eyes and wields a sword that literally sucks blood, the Kurokotsu. As the Shadow Sage, he has power over illusions and is able to dispel deceptions. In battle, he is agile and powerful, although he needs to rely on others in order to get healed and for support.

Events

Rei first appears in Level 05 already with his Sage form and Shadow Medallion.

Rei claims to come from the future. He thnks he was run over by Lady Powder, and knocked unconscious. He was taken to Chateau Skulltula and injected with Lady Powder's blood, thus giving him the bloodlines of all of the races. Sir Cyan enabled him to escape with Tori, so Rei first fought the Sages in order to attain the medallions so he could activate the time spell at the Temple of Time so that he could return to the future.

Personality

The only part of Rei that's revealed early on the story is someone who's aggressively ready to do whatever it takes to fulfill his own ambitions, much like a villain. However, after meeting Link, something about him changed after meeting his defeat at the hands of our blonde hero. Only time will tell how he develops.

Author's Notes

Well, first off, his name... before, the characters only had first and last names without middle names. Tsubasa Rei would loosely translate to "Wing Zero," the gundam used by Heero Yuy in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. Other than that, any person suited to be the wielder of the shadows is already stereotypically a Rei-type angsty character. But still, somewhere inside of me, I found a Rei who just begged to be a character to be written. So Rei was born.

Abilities:

Kageno Uta - This ability acts as a paralysis spell, causing any opponents to be stunned for a short period of time (about seven seconds).

Kageno Kizu - Rei's variation of the Cutting Wind. Instead of drawing upon the powers of wind and courage, however, he uses the abilities of the shadows and raw strength to create many medium-sized blades that home in on the opponent.

Koumajutsu Hitokage - Rei creates the illusion of spirit flames surrounding him, and sends them to attack a single enemy target.

Rei is a warrior, who's pain will be his enemy's pain. His statistics are above average all around, and is a competent fighter as well as spellcaster. All around, he's a good fighter, but he lacks the ability to recover.
